Suggested Use

In an ionic silver solution, silver is present predominantly as dissolved silver ions (Ag⁺) which are individual silver atoms that have lost an electron, giving them a positive charge and allowing them to bind to and exist in a solution as water (they become wrapped in water molecules and are called hydrated ions). This is fundamentally different from metallic silver particles (Ag⁰), which are solid particles (or neutral, particulate solids) shaken up in a liquid, often described as Colloids.

This means that while colloidal silver is very fine silver particles floating around in water, Ionic silver has dissolved silver ions, not solid particles. Which means Ionic Silver doesn’t settle and clump like solid particles and is ready to bind to molecules on contact instead of just layering on top. Our Silver also has 70+ Micro-Siemens (µS) most other Ionic Silver's are only 40-60µS. In water testing, µS (often written µS/cm) is used to estimate how many dissolved ions are in the water, because ions carry electric charge. We try for 75µS or higher to ensure that after the bottling process each bottle is above 70µS.
